Eurogiro offers a global network for remittance and payment solutions

By facilitating bilateral and multilateral relationships amongst its members, Eurogiro creates business opportunities for payments exchange. Eurogiro members have the flexibility to create a variety of international remittance and payment products to meet local market needs through the foundation of Eurogiro's well-respected business framework and IT network.

The Eurogiro network can handle the processing of small volume to bulk payments for international cash payments, money orders and 'to account' payments. From urgent cash payments via Western Union, semi-urgent cash payments via Eurogiro Cash International^® (ECI™), to money orders and credit transfers with a prescribed value date, the Eurogiro community and network provides new business opportunities for cross-border payment and remittance products for the retail and wholesale market.

Two SMS services are also offered on a subscription basis to all Eurogiro members. One is closely connected to the Eurogiro Cash International product, where the "ECI SMS Notify" service replaces the need for the sending organistion to notify the receiving organisation of a sent ECI transaction. Further the sending organisation can receive an SMS notification when the sent ECI™ has been paid to the payee. The other SMS service is the "SMS Messaging Service" where Eurogiro members can send multiple SMS messages to any mobile phone across the globe. The key feature of this service is the option for a Eurogiro member to send the same SMS message to many of its customers in a simple and cost efficient way. 

For instance, the Eurogiro proprietary system - the 'ELS-system' provides Western Union Agents with a cost saving interface for Western Union services.
